New Years Part 2: Looking Forward

So a lot of my resolutions this year are roll overs from last year, but I’m adding some specifics on this year so I can hold myself more accountable and adding a few more things.

  1. Not only wake more on time, but wake up at a consistent time and hopefully become less nocturnal. I want to try and wake up by 8 or 9 every morning.
  2. Cook in more/eat out less. I’m going to start keeping track of how many times I eat out a week and having people over dinner to keep costs and leftovers down
  3. Exercise at least 4-5 times a week.
  4. Read an hour ever day… well this one might not be held on to as well.
  5. Graduate.
  6. Work ahead and stay diligent.

The rest of my new year’s resolutions are more of a general attitude and lifestyle which I will go to in a little bit. This year will be such a strange one. It will be tough, crazy, and life changing. In supposedly 5 months I will have graduated from College and soon after I should have a new job preferably in a new place. There is no way of knowing exactly what that will be at this point and I have a few obstacles and challenges to face to get there.

Now that I have had a few weeks of meditation and relaxation, I am now refocused. I know what I want (for the most part). If I don’t know the exact job that I want, I do know what I want out of it and I know what I want to achieve. I know what needs to be done the next few weeks/months and I’m prepared to do what ever it takes and make the changes I need to achieve this goals.

Basically this next year I have a plan and I know what to do. Every morning that I wake up and feel trapped, I will figure out a way to be free and conquer the things that are suppressing me. Every morning I wake up and realize I am not where I want to be, I will figure out what I need to be where I want to be and go there. Basically this last resolution is to not lose my passion and keep my goals clear and piercing, and diminish any day to day problems to what they really are, small every day things.
