Christmas Break and the end of my last Fall Semester

Hey guys! I know I haven’t blogged in a while. The end of the semester was rough and it just became busier when I got home. Due to personal reasons, there were a number of complications involved in finishing my senior seminar. After staying on campus for a long time after classes were over, I finally decided to take an incomplete so that I can truly write a good paper and devote an appropriate amount of time to my thesis. I am sure I will write more about it later but because of this I ended up getting home with only a few days to do all my christmas shopping in a few days before the rest of my family and the many pets that accompany them crowded into my parents house for christmas.

Christmas was extremely relaxing and it was nice just to be home and hang out with the family. Besides that I’ve gone out with my friends and things like that so nothing big here. I’m going to write a new years update later so no worries. Sorry if this seems pointless I feel like I just haven’t blogged in a while.

iHollaback is the new rape whistle but better → good.is

With new technology way more innovative ways of keeping people safe and preventing or deterring sexual harassment/assault. Here is just one really cool app that I found with the immense amounts of time I have had to search the net. Very very cool and hopefully it will make a difference in some small way.

About.me To much internet?

Hey everyone,

I just did some major surfing of the internet. Happens every time I have finals. It happens way too often actually. Anyway I came across a website called about.me. This website is basically called a splash site. Instead of giving people random links to things like my google+, twitter, or blog, I just give them the address to my about.me website and people can now access all my other websites. Making face to face networking to my online persona that much easier…. or is it just that much more complicated? And that’s what I want to hear from you guys.. is this easier? or is social media and networking online just getting extremely convoluted… There are so many websites competing with each other and a lot of times the effect is that these websites are just trying to stay relevant. So my question is are these splash sites necessary or is this whole concept something of an oxymoron?

my website is about.me/japace89

what do you guys think?
